OUR APPROACH TO SUSTAINABILITY Our approach Sustainability at LM Wind Power starts with our company vision: Together, we capture the wind to power a more sustainable world. The blades we design and build everyday contribute to com- batting climate change, by capturing the most possible ener- gy from the wind and producing clean, renewable energy. We can be proud of that; however, we also recognize any product comes with a footprint. To be a truly sustainable company, it’s not enough simply to be part of a green industry. We also need to ensure that the way we produce our products, oper- ate our business and impact people and communities is done in a sustainable way. Our approach to sustainability is to ensure that we create long-term value for all our stakeholders. As a company in the wind industry, we already play an active role in the transition to a more sustainable world. Yet, we understand the limita- tion of working alone as a single company. Many solutions need industry-level joint effort or even cross-sector partner- ship by involving both civil societies and the government.
