LM Wind Power Extends Partnership with ENERCON with New LM78.3 Blade Contract

LM Wind Power is pleased to announce an extension of its partnership with ENERCON through a new contract to produce LM78.3 onshore wind blades. These blades will support ENERCON’s E160 EP5 turbine, a key product for wind energy markets across Germany and other European countries, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.

Under the multi-year agreement, production will take place at LM Wind Power’s Dabaspet facility in India.

This milestone marks a significant step in LM Wind Power’s enduring partnership with the wind turbine manufacturer, which began in 2018. The E-160 EP5 turbine, powered by LM’s advanced blade technology, continues to play a pivotal role in meeting the growing demand for renewable energy in established and emerging markets alike.
